Hello readers! Just wanted to give you a quick update on RECKLESS, the sequel to WRECKED…
The manuscript is nearly done. I have one or two more days of writing and editing to do before shipping it off to my proofreader/editor. I'm not sure if I have any beta readers for this book since it's so close to the holidays and everyone is so busy, but I'm going to try to find some! Actually, it's not hard to find beta readers, but it is hard to find ones that can read the book in just a day and send it back to me with comments and corrections! I am a very demanding author with demanding readers, so it's not an easy job by any means.
I love Christmas, but the holidays are seriously cramping my style, and with other issues that have cropped up, it's been hard to stay perfectly on schedule. I wanted to get this book published for you on Christmas Eve, but I'm afraid it's going to be closer to the end of the month, which is the date all my books are scheduled to be published now. I could read it in a day. Since I have no plans for Christmas eve and my husband works third shift so he sleeps during the day.
Reading is half the job. The other half is submitting comments and tracking errors. I think that’s the harder part, to be able to know the prior work well and be able to spot any inconsistencies, plot holes, awkward sentence structures, etc. It’s not a fun job, really. 🙂
This grammar nazi would be glad to beta read the book in a day. I’ve had the opportunity to beta read for mullet man, but not you yet 🙂

No worries. I love everything that you write so just take your time and I will wait on pins and needles for the finished product. Could we get a sneak peak of chapter 1? 🙂
I just don’t have time to polish it and put it up today. I have to wrap presents, pick up relatives from the airport, and party like it’s the end of the year! 🙂
