    • The Vampire Seasons series is still alive!! It’s just taken me a long time to schedule the next book in the series, My Vampire Fall. Look for it in 2016 or 2017. 🙂

      • So I was wondering when the next book for Mis Matched would come out l, and if it would be about Donal and Ridlee?! I loved that book, and I’ve wondering what was going to happen next with their love story. I was also curious if there was going to be another book in the Shine Not Burn series…

        • Hello Dakotah! Thanks for your message. There is a plan for a book 2 with The Irish Matchmaker’s Series, but Amanda and I have not yet fixed a date for it. She has a little 2-year-old, so her schedule is pretty booked compared to mine! And I have no plan for a 3rd book in the Shine Not Burn series at this time. xoxo Elle EDITED: Plans for more books in this series are on hold indefinitely. Sorry for that. 🙁

      • When can we expect the next two books in the war of the fae series exactly? It says March but so far nothing and I’ve been checking every day!

        • Hi Lori, I’m Noelle, Elle’s assistant. Elle is traveling at the moment, and doesn’t have internet access while she’s in transit. She’s working on books 9 & 10 in the War of the Fae series as I write to you. We’ve updated the publishing schedule, and Book 9 in the series will most likely be published in April. Thank you for your patience, and we’re so sorry for the delay. I’ve just had a look at a draft, and I can tell you that Book 9 will be the best book yet of the series! Stay tuned…

          • I too have been watching regularly waiting for more War of the Fae. Interested to see where the storyline is going. I have introduced more friends to this amazing series and they too have not paused between books to catch up. We are now eagerly awaiting and hungry for more adventure

          • Hi Donna, Thanks so much for your nice note. Books 9 and 10 are coming, we promise! The wait will soon be over… Thank you for your patience and encouragement! I know Elle definitely appreciates it 🙂

          • I’m about two weeks away from getting back into #9 and then finishing it to get on to #10! I had a contracted project jump the line because the deadline for publication is not fixed by me. xoxo Elle

          • Hello I loved books 1-8 of war of the fae. I was instantly hooked and I read them all within a month. I checked this website for the release date of book #9 (I was very relieved to know it would only be a month) and have been waiting for today. I was wondering if it will come out now or be postponed. I apologize if I’m being pushy but your books are amazing and I fell in love with this series almost instanly.
I would love to know the possible due date asap thanks for reading I love your books🙌🏆👍

          • Hi there. I’m really happy to know you’re so excited for the release. So am I! I’m working on 9 and 10 now, with 100% of my focus on them until they are done! I’m hoping it won’t be much longer. I will send out a link in a newsletter the day #9 is live, I promise! xoxo Elle

          • Hi I can’t wait for book 9 In the war of the fae I asked around November for the date thanks for replying :’D
I don’t mind if it takes a while I’d rather it be an amazing book (like usual) than you rush it. being a popular author must be hard with so many due dates. I appreciate the hard work your putting in to this and can wait for years as long as it’s done good. Please don’t give up your fans are cheering for you!😁😁

          • Thanks, Serenity! Your support means so much. I really appreciate you reaching out with such kind words. xoxo Elle

          • Hi! Just curious… I bought books 1-8 alrdy and when I went back to buy the last 2 books in the series, they were no longer available on Amazon. Did something happen?? Did they get removed for some reason? Was really looking forward to finishing off the series this week 🙁 I can’t seem to locate copies anywhere now. Are they gone just temporarily? Please say yes! Lol! Thanks so much!

          • I assume you mean War of the Fae? If so, books 9 and 10 have never been released (yet) so you didn’t miss anything. Look for them this summer/fall. xoxo Elle

          • Will there be any others after book 10? I just bought and now am binge reading them all in order. Love them. Im on 7 now.

            Laurie

          • Hi Laurie! So glad you’re loving the series. To answer your question, no, there won’t be any more books in this particular series, but I am writing a whole new one based in the same world, and you will see some of the same characters in it. It’s more for adults than YA, though. In the back of Book 10 you’ll see info about it. 🙂 xoxo Elle

      • Hi Elle! I just finished My Vampire Summer and really enjoyed it. I think I have read all your books (loved all of them) and am now patiently waiting for the next one. I think you are an amazing writer and I love your attitude in your story telling. I noticed Apocalypsis TV Pilot on your publishing schedule. Can you tell us about that? It sounds awesome!

        • That’s so nice to know, Sheryl! Thank you for stopping by and letting me know. You made my day. As far as the pilot is concerned, well, all I can say is that I’m going to write the pilot based on the start of book 1 and see if I can get someone to look at it!! I might have a contact that can open a door for me, but we’ll see. I have nothing to lose by trying, right? 🙂 xoxo Elle

          • Elle,
Love your books!! I just finished Drifters Alliance Book 3 – this series would make a great movie! Can’t wait for DA 4 !!!

            Renee

      • What is the status of the war of the fae book 9 and 10? l have been anxiously awaiting for so long. I’m currently re-reading them for about the fourth time and have turned a friend into a huge war of the fae fan as well. Your books are absolutely amazing. From a devoted fan who cannot wait for the next book 😅

        • Hi there. Sorry you had to write twice! I got behind in my website commments. 🙂 Here’s the response I gave to your other question: That’s so cool that you’ve gotten your friends hooked. Books are best when shared, I always say! I’m working on #9 now. It’s VERY slow going because as part of this process, I have to keep track of an encyclopedia’s worth of dangling threads and characters from the previous books and make sure to tie everything up in these last two books. Rest assured, no other books will be worked on by me until these two are done! 🙂 xoxo Elle

      • Elle when can we expect the war of the fae book 9 to release? I’ve been so excited and patiently waiting. I’ve gotten several of my friends waiting as well after l got them hook to the series as well! l cannot wait for the next book in the series currently reading it over for about the 5th time!

        • That’s so cool that you’ve gotten your friends hooked. Books are best when shared, I always say! I’m working on #9 now. It’s VERY slow going because as part of this process, I have to keep track of an encyclopedia’s worth of dangling threads and characters from the previous books and make sure to tie everything up in these last two books. • I have been waiting for war of the Fae books to come out I was hooked from book one it was a great story and lots of twist that just kept me wondering what’s next so yea I have suggested your work to others and I hope they gave you a chance

      • Thank you so much, Roger, for both your message and for sharing my work with others. More books in this series will be out soon! xoxo Elle

        • I wanted to complament you on your books and say they are great I would love to see more story’s maybe spin off’s of some of what you wrote I have bought all of war of the Fae in eBook format wish I could have found the books to keep in my collection and might try to see if I can find and order them somewhere

          • Hi, Roger. Thanks for your comment. We should have all the paperbacks finished up with the new covers on them by this summer if you want to wait! 🙂 Eventually there will be 10 books in all. xoxo Elle

    • Will we still be seeing the next war of the fae book out this month? I’ve been checking every day and April is almost over! Absolutely cannot wait! 🙂

      • Hi Lori, I’m Elle’s assistant. The next books in the series are on the way. Elle posted on the blog this morning to explain the delay. Thanks for being such a patient and loyal fan:) We appreciate it! –Noelle

        • Yes I’m dying to read the next War of the Fae book!!!! Please let me know the second it comes out. Or if it’s already out cuz it’s May now… 🙁

          • If you sign up for my newsletter, you will get an email the day the book is released! 🙂 xoxo Elle

    • Wondering about war of the fae book 9 it has been up as next to be published several time and then get pushed back behind others. It is just that people aren’t asking for it or what?

      • Hi, I’m Elle’s assistant. She just published a blog post explaining about the delay in the publication of War of the Fae 9 & 10. She’s had many, many readers asking about the books. Life has gotten in the way of their publication. She explains it all in today’s blog. Thank you for being so patient! –Noelle

    • Hi Elle I’ve really enjoyed your war of the fae books and book 9&10 especially!! When will they be out the dates are being pushed further and further back all the time

      • Hi, India! I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the series so far. Yes, the last 2 in War of the Fae have been delayed a few times. Stuff happens in life sometimes that just can’t be helped or changed. I roll with the punches and do the best I can. I’m working on them both right now. 🙂 xoxo Elle

    • Hi, Karen! Next year sometime. That publishing date is out of my hands, but Montlake Publishing has said they are interested in putting it out soon. 🙂

    • Have just read all 3 books in the drifters alliance series, absolutely fantastic series! So eager to find out what happens next for cass! Have read quite a lot of your books now, this being the first science fiction one and I’m hooked!

      • You read fast! So, so glad you enjoyed it, especially since it’s not your normal genre. The 4th book will be out this year. xoxo Elle

        • once i’m hooked on a book i don’t want to put it down!! 🙂
I love to read across a lot of Genres, though i’m a sucker for a good romance, but have always been interested in different twists on that. I love to be taken on new paths with a good book! Although being a busy working mom my reading tends to go in phases, weeks without reading a book and then reading loads of books within a week or so! lol helps i have a fast reading speed and good at multi tasking whilst still reading 🙂
So excited that the 4th book will be out this year! How many books are you planning in this series? xx

  2. fo you have a date in mind for the next war of the fae #9 might be coming out? It was the first book written by you, that I read that has made me such a huge fan of yours!

    • Hi there, Lisa! Great to hear from you. Book 9 will be out in October, assuming all goes as planned! You can find my publishing schedule on the webiste, home page. Click! 🙂

  3. I just finished reading The Bourbon Street Boys part 1 and loved it! As for the second book I saw that you said it’s coming out next year, is it going to follow May and Ozzie’s story? I loved this one and want to know what happens in the future with them.

  4. I love your series War of the fae!! You say that book nine will be out in October? Well sense we just got into the month of October can you tell us more of the actual date it will be available to read on a kindle?

    • Hi there, Chelsea! So glad you liked the series! I’m not sure of the exact date. There’s been a bit of a change to my schedule that we’ll post soon. If you sign up for my newsletter, you’ll get all the updates delivered to your inbox. 🙂

  5. Hi! Loved Bourbon St Boys book 1 so much I couldn’t wait for the next, so I picked up Mismatched- it was the BEST EVER. When is the next installment coming out I can’t wait?!

    • Awesome news! Thanks much for letting me know. 🙂 Bourbon Street Boys books 2 and 3 are coming out in 2016. I don’t have an exact date yet … and probably same for The Irish Matchmaker Series, book 2. 🙂 Please leave reviews for the books if you can!

      • I read all 3 books of the BSB in 3 days couldn’t put them down. Do you have plans for more? Those are the first of your books I’ve read and will definitely be checking out more. But would also love to see another book or two in the series!!

        • Hi, Katie! Yes, I do have plans for more. How many? Not sure. We’ll see how many the fans want! So glad you’re liking the series so far. xoxo Elle

  6. What an awesome book! Loved Wrong Number, Right Guy and wished the next one in the BSB series was already available! I loved how real everyone was, and wished I could work with them! Great job!

  7. I’m a big fan of your War of the Fae series! I love that Jayne and all of the other characters feel like they could be real people. I love that Jayne is sarcastic, snarky and makes mistakes, but obviously has a big heart, cares very deeply for her friends, and is also a very moral person. She’s absolutely one of my favorite characters in a long time! Thank you! Would asking for a book a month for this series be asking too much? Lol!

    • Thank, Anna! So glad you’re enjoying the series. I actually did write the first 4 books in 4 months, then had a break, then wrote the next 3 in 3 months. So it’s technically possible for me to do it, but right now with my schedule, not so much. Books 9 and 10 will be out soon, though! Check my publishing schedule on the website here for more details. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  8. Just finished BSB 1. Thank you for a great read. Can’t wait for the next books. Loved the writing and your unique sense of humor. Definitely one of my favorite books to read when I need to relax.

  9. Just read the bsb book 1 in 3 hours, could not put it down! Ive never laughed so much in my life either, cant wait for the next one. I find it so hard to find new authors that i like that i was so excited to come across your books, im a very big nora roberts fan and now im pleased to say i shall be a big fan of yours too. Thanks for writing great books to escape into 🙂

  10. I just have to let you know how much enjoyment I get over your books. The flow of dialogue between the two main character in most books are what I enjoy so very much! The banter is wonderful every time in every books of yours that I have read. I honestly find it amazing that you can crank such fun books out, time after time. I just finished the “Love in New York” series and loved it. I am a little biased, mainly because my Mom’s first name was Leah and her maiden name was Oliver. No Lie! Your Leah* is so friggin funny it hurts, but in the best possible way! I am a huge fan and have read so many series you have published, starting with Call to Arms/War of the Fae series. Thank God for kindles so I can read your books whenever and wherever I may go. Please don’t ever stop writing as I would seriously cry. Looking forward to the next book of yours I read. Ta!

    • Lisa, you’re an angel for saying so! Not a lot of my fans cross over from fantasy to romance, so I’m glad to see you’re one of them. Thanks for stopping by to share your thoughts with me! 🙂 xoxo Elle

  11. The Bourbon Street Boys book one was a hoot, I laughed so hard that my daughter 26 year old decided to read, she agrees it was a really good book. I read a lot and this one of the best books I read in a long time. Hurry with the Book 2 please.

    • Thanks so much, Sheila! So glad you both enjoyed it. I’m going to be starting on the next two books very soon, so they’ll be up for pre-order soon! xoxo Elle

    • I can’t give an exact date, but if you look at this publishing schedule, you’ll get a general idea. My newsletter generally gives more exacting information as it becomes available, so be sure to sign up!

      • I absolutely love your writing style. I have read so many of your books and have loved them all! Just got done reading BSB and can’t tell you all the times that my husband asked me what I was laughing about. ..thanks for making my day. Just wondering if Mays sister will be joining her at BSB??? With her computer knowledge! !

  12. I really wish when the books are series the publishers would put them out quicker…. most times I’ll wait to get one cause I hate to start reading about a group and then you have to wait for months for it to come out… but on a good note I do love this book…♡

    • Well, I normally put a new book out in a series each month, but now that I’m working with Montlake Romance, I have a lost a little control over that schedule. But they’re pretty good about getting books out faster than other publishers, I have to say!

  13. Need war of the fae next book I need my Jane and Tim fix…I litrally can’t get into any book at the minute because nothing compares to war of the fae ☺☺☺☺ im reading ruby blue and struggling its just not the same 🙁 🙁 nooooo pls publishers hurry upppppp lol

    • I am sad to see that war of the fea has been pushed back. I could have sworn it said that they were to come out Dec / Jan and now it is to be out Feb /Mar. I know you have a lot o your plate and i thank you for making you wonderful imaginative stories. I just hope tha dates do not change anymore. We are absolutely in love with this series and are eager to see what happens next. We appreciate you Elle Casey!

      • Hello there! You’re not crazy, you DID see that date, but after my husband had his accident (blogged about it if you’re interested), we had to push everything back. I’m writing again, so hopefully everything will fall back into place now. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  14. Just finished Wrong Number Right Guy and liked it a lot .. Wished it went a little further into their story. Was wondering about the Bourbon Street Boys book 2 .. Will it continue on or is it another story with the other characters ? Thanks.

  15. I loved BSB so much and I laughed so hard during the first 5 pages that I was crying fixing to read it again perfect book to read for those Monday blues

  16. Hey there just finished up with the Apocalypsis series and was hoping that there would be more of the story coming soon i read them for hours a day and loved every minute of it when i got to the end it was bittersweet your an amazing author and im going to jump into some of your other series now i am still hoping the story continues and maybe for a rough release date if possible keep on writing on knowing your stories bring so much joy to others and thank you!

    • Hi, Will. So glad you liked it! I don’t have plans for more in this series right now, but I have tossed around the idea of a spinoff series! In 2016 I will be writing a pilot and trying to get it around for a TV series. It’s like winning the lottery, but also like the lottery, I can’t win if I don’t play! 🙂

  17. love love love the love in ny series!!!! please tell val and jake’s story as they would be perfect. 🙂 so very glad i discovered you as you are a phenomenal storyteller. thanks for making me laugh, cry, fall in love and feel like i am doing all of it with old and dear friends. 🙂

      • I’ve just finished the Love in NY series, any plans to carry it on? Maybe Val and Jake? I loved Jake’s character and think Val really deserves some love in her life. SJx

  18. I just finished war of the family book 8. I can’t wait for the next books in this series. I love reading books that make me laugh. Thank you so much for all the laughs I had reading this series.

  19. Absolutely in love with the series War of the Fae. Can not wait until the next books are released, quite an imagination might I add, very pleased with every book so far.(:

    • Great! I like seeing readers cross over genres with me! Next year we’ll do some more Drifters’ Alliance books for the series for sure. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  20. Hi elle, just a quick note to say I’m gutted war of the fae has been pushed back to January/February was checking all the time to see when it would be published hoping it would stay as December but still maybe a late Xmas present/early birthday present for me I can buy myself 🙂 can’t wait till its published I’m dying to know what happens to jane and the gang still will have to wait and see and will enjoy it as much.

    • Hi, Charlene! Gutted? That sounds very serious. 🙂 Not to worry, the books will be out soon. I just had to deal with a life tragedy that slowed me down a bit, but we’re back on track over here at Elle Casey Central! xoxo Elle

      • Hi Elle,
Sorry to hear about your husband understandably your books would be delayed family comes first. Hope life gets better for you and your family and you have a lovely Christmas (I’m from the uk) all the best. Charlene xx

  21. Im sorry to hear about your husbands accident. I had not read the blog about it. I hope he feels better soon and of course take your time he is the important one. I apologize for my impatience. Thank you for the reply

  22. Hi,
I absolutely love all your books but I have to say my favourite is the rebel series. I have read them more than once and am obsessed with them. Any chance you may be doing anything more with this series. If not I still have War of the Fae to look forward too!!

    • Hi Natalia! Thanks much for your message. I’m thrilled you’re enjoying the Rebel Wheels series so much. I don’t have any more plans for this series, but you never know with me. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  23. Just finished Drifter’s Alliance book 2 about to start 3. This is the first time I bought 2 books (2&3) at the same time before finishing the 1st in a series.
I’m already upset about not having anymore after #3.
Can you recommend anymore similar to this style/genre/writing to hold me over until you get the next 10 D.A. books published?

    • Hey Kal. Thanks so much for your note. I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed the series so far. I would recommend Theresa Kay’s work and also Susan Kaye Quinn. You might also take a look at the anthology Dark Beyond the Stars. I have a pre-quel to Drifters’ Alliance in there and there are also a lot of other SF authors with good stuff to take a look at. xoxo Elle

  24. Elle – you are my new favourite author! I started with Rebel Wheels and was hooked. I just finished Just One Night. Your characters and their dialogue are brilliant and funny and I can’t wait to read more of anything you write. Congrats on writing books that are different and so entertaining.

  25. I love your War of the Fae series so much! I really dont mean to rush you ,but I just wanted to know if there is a possibly that book 9 and 10 will be released sooner?
    Stay Awesome 🙂

    • No, because I have to re-read the entire series before even starting, and I’m finishing up one more book before I start that! I have a packed first quarter ahead of me. 🙂

  26. Hey I was wondering if you were gonna write another book of the apocolyptic series I loved all the book and the plot pls continue the series I loved this much it has to continue

    • Hi there. I do plan to add to it one day, but I’m not sure that will happen in 2016. I am going to try to write a TV pilot for the series, though, to see if I can get someone interested in making it into a television show! xoxo Elle

  27. Plssss continue on the series but start again with paci, Bryn, and their kid along with Bodo just a thought I loved this book and think u are a great author

  28. Drifters Alliance #4?? Loved every genre you’ve written but seriously hooked on this set. Looking forward to everything you have coming out.

  29. Yes I would totally watch that show just don’t make it too cartoony pls omggg I am so excited I love this series and finished it in 6days the series

  30. Um…just finished Slipping Time in World of the Fae….What was that??? I knew it would have a crazy cliff hanger but what the???? I stretched out the last book for almost a whole month…look at me go!!! So hopefully not long to wait for books 8 and 9. After reading the suprising AWESOME series Apocolypsis, I thought, what else does this author have to offer, as I was super sad to read that there was no longer more on Apocolypsis….and no more Bodo??? sniff.* I hope your TV series will get snatched up, it’s a great idea, sadly I’m not a TV lover but a book lover, the characters are always WAY more amazing in your head. Anyway I want to thank you so much for these 2 amazing series I’ve fallen in love with, again not sure what to read for the next 30 some days till the new releases…miss me some pixie! Seriously, a 41 year old woman in love with the YA books, my co-workers moke me. But we know don’t we!? Lol…..thanks again for sharing your talents 🙂

  31. Just finished reading Haven in the Apocalypsis series and I LOVED IT!! I am so hoping you continue Bryn’s story. I love your characters [okay, maybe not Gail 🙂 ] and I really just want to read more!! Thanks for writing such a great series.

  32. Hi, Elle! I love your books. I am from Brazil, but I had to read the ” War of Fae” books in English because I was so anxious! Thank you for the amazing histories!

  33. Just read BSB and I LOVED it! I especially loved Dev. As a mum to a little boy with Alopecia Universalis, it makes my heart happy to “see” characters with this having a happy/healthy life. Can’t wait to explore more of your work. You’ve made me laugh, cry and fall completely in love with the tales you weave!

  34. Elle, I have loved both the Love in New York and the McKensie family books, will there be any more in those stories?
Lost and Found was hilarious and the second McKensie Family book was laugh out loud funny. Seriously, I think my husband thought I was crazy. Then I read the first Bourbon Street book and laughed so hard I was crying in the first chapter with the auto correct texts!!! Looking forward to more.

    • Hi, I’m Noelle, Elle’s Assistant. I’m replying because Elle is out of town without internet access at the moment! We’re so glad to hear you’re enjoying her books. Elle doesn’t have any plans to write more in the Love in New York and Shine Not Burn / MacKenzie Fire series at the moment, but you never know! She’s always got tons of story ideas floating around, so we never say never 🙂
Book 2 in the Bourbon Street Boys is available for pre-order on the Amazon store. It goes live on May 10th! Book 3 will be out this summer. If you’re looking for something to tide you over till then, you might like the Rebel series. Happy reading!

  36. I’m so excited about war of the fae 9 and 10, yet I’m kind of sad that it will be over. Ive bought 1-8 and started from the beginning while I was waiting for 9 and 10, I absolutely love Jayne, and Tim and all.of her awesome friends, gonna miss them. 😉
Also good to hear you family is doing better!
any recommendations on what to read next?

    • Hi Coryna, I’m Elle’s assistant. Elle is traveling at the moment, so she asked me to reply. Thanks for your understanding. We’re so glad to hear you love the War of the Fae gang. Elle is hard at work on books 9 & 10, and they’ll be out this Spring. Thanks for your patience! You might like Elle’s 4-book dystopian series, Apocalypsis (book 1 is free at most retailers). If you’re a fan of space opera or Sci Fi, I recommend her 3-book (soon to be more!) series Drifters’ Alliance. Happy reading! –Noelle

  37. I have just read the first three drifters books in 5 days. It’s going to be a long wait till the next one is out 🙂
Il just have to fill my time in with all your other books. I have almost everyone you have published so far and can’t wait for the new ones.
    Thank you for your work.

    • Hi Erin, I’m Elle’s assistant. She’s traveling right now so I’m stepping in to reply. Thank you for your very nice message. We really appreciate your support! Elle has lots of writing projects in the works for 2016. Stay tuned, and happy reading! –Noelle

    • Hi Laura, I’m Noelle, Elle’s assistant. Elle is traveling at the moment, that’s why I’m replying to you. Thanks for understanding. We’re so glad to hear you’ve enjoyed the series! Elle is hard at work on books 9 & 10, and they’ll be out soon. Thanks for your encouragement and support! While you’re waiting for the rest of the War of the Fae series, you might like to try Elle’s 4-book Apocalypsis series. Book 1 (Kahayatle) is free. Happy reading!

    • Actually, yes. I hate to say it, but there won’t be a book 2, much as I’d like there to be one. Being that it’s a co-authored project, it requires the input of both authors, and we aren’t seeing eye to eye on it at this time. 🙁 So sorry.

  39. Hi Elle ,
sorry keep asking but any idea on a date for war of the fae book 9 ? Is it definitely going to be released this month?.
Been keeping busy reading drifters alliance and Apocalypsis series nearly finished them both so was hoping to read war of the far soon lol. Both great series btw as is all the books I’ve read of yours so far 😊.
    Thanks for such enjoyable reads

    • Hi Charlene, I’m Elle’s assistant. Elle posted new content to the blog this morning to explain the delay for War of the Fae. The books are coming, we promise. Thanks for being such a great (and patient!) fan! –Noelle

    • So happy you’re enjoying those different series!! Not all my readers cross genres, but I love it when they do. xoxo Elle

  40. Can’t wait for the next two books in the War of the Fae. My mother and I are both hooked. We are constantly looking out for the new books. It’s the end of April, but I know perfection takes time. Thank you for your great stories.

  41. I have been anxiously awaiting the next book in the War of the Fae series. The release date has changed a couple of times, most recently from an April 2016 release to “Summer 2016”. Is there a more narrowed down release date?

    • Hi, Christina. Thanks so much for your note. I know you’re probably very frustrated at the delays, as am I! If you take a look at my blog, you’ll see my posts with explanations of why the publishing date has been pushed back. Some family tragedies have gotten in the way of my writing time (and ability to write), but I’ll hopefully be back on track very soon. This week my beautiful mare gave birth to a baby foal and then died hours later, so I have my hands full with raising an orphan foal. It’s like having a human newborn who needs to eat every 2 hours, weighs 200 pounds, can run, and doesn’t listen well… xoxo Elle

  42. When is war of the fae 9 coming out? Im obsessed with the book series i bought them all on playbooks and sooo looking forward to the next book!!

  43. Just bought book War of the Fae #7 and I can’t wait to start reading. Even though Jayne annoys the heck out of me sometimes with her never listening to anyone, doing what she wants when she wants no matter whats going on and her annoying tendency to keep thinking about guys I still love her she cracks me up sometimes. Her friendship with Tim is hilarious I do be in stitches laughing at them both.
Ben is annoying me but I get the feeling that he’s being controlled by someone else. I want to like Samantha I’m not sure about I get the feeling that she just wants to be needed and will do anything to make that happen.
Anyway enough of my rambling I just came her to say can’t wait for books 9 and 10.

  44. Yippee more Fae and more DS books….happy summer and fall! I love your books for the strong female characters. That is what got me hooked…that and there’s just enough snark to be fun.

  45. Just finished reading Rebel Wheels series for the second time. I actually read Trouble 3 times. I guess you can tell I loved it. Is there any possibility of another book for that series? Possibly one from the guys point of view? I’m not usually a chick lit girl, but I think that just changed. I stumbled onto this series after reading all the War of the Fae books ( which by the way I can’t wait for books 9 & 10). You really touched my soul by the way you wrote these characters especially Colin. Thanks for showing the depth of a person.

    • Hi Paulette!! I’m impressed that you enjoy the books so much they’ve gotten so many re-reads! What a huge compliment. Colin is a special guy, that’s for sure. Right now I don’t have plans for another book in that series, but who knows what the future might hold. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  46. Hi Elle,

I found your war of the Fae series through google play while surfing. I downloaded the first book which was free and read through it. It was absolutely fantastic. After that, I proceeded to read rest of the 7 books in under 3 days. I was COMPLETELY HOOKED and finished your last book recently.
I am Sorry if I am pushing you but leaving me on a cliffhangar like that has left me mentally restless.
I came here to check on the publishing status but found that it says book 9 is only 25% completed. When will it be out? Although I hope you take your time and create an absolute masterpiece.

    Regards,
    A HUGE FAN

    • Hi HUGE FAN!! So glad you found my books. I don’t often hear about people finding them on Google Play, so I’m glad my books are making it in front of reader eyes over there. I don’t have an exact publish date on the last two books yet, but I will soon. You can sign up for my newsletter here and get a notice in your inbox as soon as it’s ready. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  47. You are my new favorite Author. I started out reading the War of the fae books when I was looking for something good to read on google play, I read all 8 books in less than a week, then proceeded to read some of your other work, I’ve read almost everything you have written that’s available on Google play. I just absolutely love your work!! I just finished the last book of the Rebel Wheels series last night and I’m thirsty for more!!! Do you have an idea of when the next war of the fae will be available? Im re-reading the series this weekend just because its sooo good 🙂 Im a total book worm, its almost an addiction for me so i’m totally in need of a dose of Jayne and the crew 😛

    • So glad you found me, Andi!! I’m happy to feed your addiction. 🙂 WOTF 9 and 10 will be out this summer, but I don’t have an exact date yet. I’m working on it! Stay tuned via my newsletter if you want an immediate notice when they’re live. xoxo Elle

  48. Downloaded the first book for War of the Fae quite a while back but never read it till I went on holiday at the end of May, ended up spending a bomb on data so I could download all that was available as I was hooked from the beginning. Finished them in less than 2 weeks and now eagerly awaiting the next two in the series, can’t wait to see where the storyline is going, your work is awesome. 🙂

    • Cool! Where did you find the other books? Which retailer? I’m always curious where my readers are shopping. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  49. You are my new favorite author! I thoroughly enjoyed the Apocalypsis series, and I am ADDICTED to the War of Fae series. Tim the pixie is just too funny! Keep up the good work! 😀

  50. Hello, When I started reading your war of the fae series , (great and fun reads) I thought it was a complete series. Normally I don’t read anything I can’t finish or wait for , because I know creative flows can not be interrupted when life happens. I finished all of the books last year. I had a great time reading them. I really enjoyed the way your mind works with these characters. Though it’s been almost a year since I’ve read anything I can finish. I have tried reading other series that are finished, only I can’t get this series out of my head and now those are unfinished lives in my head too , lol I’m one of those people that can’t start a project or a read when there is still something left to do. I see the dates have been pushed so far and other projects have gone up while I patiently wait. When will the the other books be out and will there be more books added to this series ?
    Thank you
    Denise

    • I’m working on #9 now. I get your frustration, believe me! Hopefully it won’t be long now. Life threw me a few curveballs, but I’m working every day to catch up! xoxo Elle

  51. Thank you for writing such wonderful series, I can’t wait for the next War of the Fae and Drifters’ alliance books. And I hope my eyes don’t deceive me, a possible tv-series based on Apocalypsis, yes! Pity it will take a while before its available in Europe. I have just one question, is there any chance for a sequel of Aces High. I loved the (dys)functional relationship of Charlie an Doug.

    • So happy you’re enjoying them, and it’s cool knowing you’re crossing over into other genres. Not a lot of readers do that! There is a sequel planned for Aces High; Jason and I just need to firm up a date to write and finish! We keep saying we’re going to, but we both have really crazy schedules, so it’s hard. Stay posted via my newsletter if you want. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  52. Thank you for the update , I really appreciate it . I was clicking around on your site after I had posted and read what happened to your hubby, I can understand now why it’s taken so long. I pray your hubby has had a full speedy recovery and is in better health. I wish you both all the best . On another note, my hubby is computer illiterate and he’s driving me nuts about the next book. It’s what prompted me to look for the continuation of the books. We read all series of books together :). He loves your characters , He’s read them twice , lol.

    • My husband is pretty much all healed up now, thank goodness. He still gets a twinge in the area where the bone broke, but otherwise he doesn’t notice it anymore. We got really really lucky! I credit all those reader prayers and positive thoughts along with my husband’s hard-working nature. 🙂 You’re so lucky you read with your husband! So much fun, I’d bet. xoxo Elle

  53. I’m happy to hear he’s all healed up and is not having any residual effects from the accident. Yes it is lots of fun reading with my husband. Your books made that easy for sure . Your characters in War of the Fae series have a lot of attitude and personality with a fun side . I have recommended them to my nieces they enjoy Fae series also.
    Thank you for your creations!
    Denise 🙂

  54. You’re such a talented writer. It’s been a blast reading some of your other work whilst waiting on War of the Fae 😂 I’ve actually been quite occupied. McKenzie Fire 😜🤗 Phew that was sure something different. I’ve read the Apocalypse books re-read WOTF twice lol and now setting in for the Drifters Alliance as they have such good reviews! I’m sure they will be amazing too. Take your time and enjoy writing so that we enjoy reading. Much love and hope your new doggy is settling in well.

    • You are a true fan, Donna! thank you so much for sharing your experience with my work and for being so supportive. I write for people like YOU! xoxo Elle

  55. I absolutely LOVED the McKenzie Fire books. Hilarious, romantic and endearing. It’s a hard combination for an author but Ms. Casey does it so well. I also LOVED the love in new York series too.

  56. So I love all your series…..so I dont think its fair to choose one…that said….I am so excited to hear that Cass’s book 4 is in the works!!!! Also light I ask…..Have the charaters from Trainwreck spoken to you lately…..because I would not complain if your wattpad story had a few updates….you are so awesome!! Anytime someone asks for a recommendation with strong female leads I point to you! Thanks for that!!

    • I was just thinking about Trainwreck the other day! You’re a mind reader (a long distance one). I would one day like to finish that story. I will; I just don’t know when exactly. Thank you so much for recommending my work to your friends. I love that it’s in the theme of strong women. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  57. I’m hooked on Drifters’ Alliance, love, love the series. Hurry up with Book 4, you can’t leave me hanging like that.

  58. I can’t wait to read Book 9 & 10 of War of The Fae!!.. I have read the first 8 books 5 times over, start to end, and keep checking for updates on 9 & 10.. This page says 9 is at 25% done, I am hoping it is now closer to 100%.. Really looking forward to what’s in store for Jayne, Spike, Tim and Co <3

    • It’s coming along but slowly because I had another project jump the line by special request of my publisher. Luckily I write fast! xoxo Elle

    • Hello, Kim. Thanks for stopping by. I plan for more in that series this year. When I get closer to having an exact publishing date, I’ll announce it in my newsletter. I invite you to join if you haven’t already! xoxo Elle

    • Ha! Butt munch. Did Jason Brant put you up to that? Usually he’s the only one who calls me that name. Aaaanywho, the next three books in the series will be out in 2016-2017. I don’t have exact dates yet because I need to finish a few other projects first. xoxo Elle

  59. Hi Elle,
Any chance of a follow on book in the Shine not Burn series about Hannah Banana?? I loved the series and would love to know what happens with Hannah in the end??

  60. Hi Elle my name is Melissa. You are one of my favorite authors. I just finished reading all 8 of your boos in 2 weeks. I’m so excited for the next 2 to come out!! I hope they will be soon. When are they coming out?????

    • Hi, Melissa! Wow, you read fast! So glad you enjoyed the series so far. I’m working on 9 and 10 now! I don’t have an exact publishing date yet, but I should soon. Stay tuned via my newsletter if you want. I’ll send the news right to your inbox. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  61. Oh my gosh! I loved “Drifters Alliance”! I couldn’t put them down. Read all three in a few days. How soon will #4 be coming out! Thanks. Keep up the good work.

    • Hi, Kathy! Glad you’ve enjoyed the series so far. It’s a ball to write, and I’m really looking forward to getting back into the series. I should be doing that toward the end of this year, early next. You can sign up for my newsletter and get updates sent right to your inbox, if you want. xoxo Elle

  62. Hello there. I just started the “Drifters Alliance” series and I am hooked! Wonderful writing with witty dialogue; I love it. I’m looking forward to the remaining books and your others works.

    Sincerely,
    Trent (a new fan)

    • Hi, Trent! Welcome to my world, and thanks for stopping by to say hello. I’ll be adding to that series this and next year, so sign up for my newsletter if you want to get notices when that happens. 🙂 xoxo Elle

      • Wow! Just finished book three of Drifters’ Alliance. I’m very much looking forward to book four. Well done and keep up the fantastic work!

        Trent

p.s. Sorry for the grammatical error in my first post. I’m a teacher and it makes me cringe every time I do that ;). Ciao!

        • Hi, Trent! so glad you like the series so far. Book four shouldn’t be that too far off. Not to worry about the errors in grammar on my page. I totally get it! Normally I’m a stickler, but I have so many errors in my own work it’s ridiculous. But that’s what proofreaders are for, right? 🙂 xoxo Elle

  63. I’m loving the bourbon street boys series, please tell me you’re not stopping at 3 because I’ve just finished it xxx

  64. I just discovered you through your Drifters’ Alliance books about two weeks ago. Just now finished book three. Cannot wait to learn more about Overshine, Jeffers, and The Green Goddess 😉 The Others. oh… and of Earth if you ever take the story there.

This series reminds me in small part of my all time favorite TV series, which is a bonus, but this story stands alone wonderfully. I’d love to see Cass and her crew actually drifting and bartering, and wow, the Romani potential! So much going on. I love it.

Is there a time frame yet for when book four gets written? Published?
Thanks much for the reading material.

    • Hi, Melissa! I’m so glad you found my books! I’m really excited to write more in the series. I was just planning out my publishing schedule and I’ve got three more DA books planned for 2017 at least. What was the TV series the books reminded you of? Firefly by any chance? It’s one of my favorites and an inspiration for the books. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  65. I stumbled upon the war of the fae books in kindle while looking for something to read. Needless to say the first one hooked me and I read the series within a week and a half! I’m looking forward to 9 and 10 but until then I think I may start the bourbon street boys while waiting lol. I love your work so far !

  66. Hi elle just popped back here to see when book 9 is due out decided to re read war of the fae again to give myself a refresh, currently on book 4 again so hopefully by the time ive finished book 9 should be due out and I can read without forgetting whats happened lol still my fave book series to date . I read apocalypse series and thought it was great started drifters alliance haven’t gotten round to finishing that yet but I think your a great writer and I hope you do more fae and fantasy books in the future because you do them so well . When I read war of the fae I feel like I’m in the book lol I read it with my earphones in spotify on with forest sounds whilst sitting at my window (I have big trees right outside) and I really love it I get so engrossed I forget to even do day to day things and I have to admit that’s unlike me I get bored of books very easily but with yours it just seems to capture my attention and keep it. I love all the characters and they are just so funny especially pixieman tim and his farts in Janes ear . So please if you plan on doing anymore future fae/ faery other realm books don’t hesitate because you do them so well . Sorry if that sounded really macaroni toni but i just wanted you to know i think your books are great and thankyou for keeping me entertained with awesome reads . sorry to here family life hasn’t been very fortunate for you recently hope things start looking up for you and your family. All the best Charlene

    • Hi Melissa! I don’t think there will be a pre-order on this one. But if you’re on my newsletter list, you’ll get a link sent to you when it goes live. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  67. How in the world do you have time to read all these comments? and publish at such a furious pace? Yikes. I love your writing style. Reading your words is like putting on my favourite slippers. I am looking forward to the next Drifters book. We got the first one from Bookbub, and then I was happily hooked.

Question: I found a few typos in #3. When I fix them and submit these fixes, does your team get them? Or am I just making myself feel better? I’d looove to help with proofing.

    • I make time!! It’s a privilege to be able to do this, and to me, not a job. Just a pleasure. 🙂 If you find ANY spelling errors, the very best thing you can do is email them to my assistant at noelle [at] ellecasey [dot} com. We appreciate your spell-checking skills, believe me! xoxo Elle

  68. Hello, was wondering if you have an exact release date for War Of The Fae 9? I literally have been checking out your site every few days for updates. Can’t wait to read it, I’ve read book 1 to 8 all over again last week which means I’ve read them all over 3 times each! Of course I’ve read your other work, that’s all I’ve been doing this year, Apocolypsis was amazing, I’ve had nightmares about canners LOL

  69. Hello,

I just read Aces High, the one you co authored with Jason Brandt. I came across is while searching for any books of his I may have missed. I saw that it said it was book 1 in a series, but I’m not seeing any others that go with it? Since it was released in 2013, does that mean there are no plans to finish Charlie & Doug’s story?

    • We absolutely plan to add to this series, it’s just difficult to find a block of time that fits into both our schedules. Look for it in 2017. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  70. hello Elle okay I wanted to know what day of November will be released 9 and 10 books the war of fae ?? And why you postponed again since it was planned for the end of October?
    thank you
ps. I love this series too

  71. hello Elle okay when will be released the last books of the series war of fae
It will be even now in November
    I can not wait anymore

  72. I just read your Drifters series (;
The whole time I’m reading I’m telling my hubby how much it reminds me of Firefly. I kept telling him you had a show- an amazing show on your hands with this story. Your Drifters are my favorite and I have read all your romance novels (; ( LOVE them!)
Imagine my surprise when I read there is a pilot on tv this coming June!!!!!
I hope you give us all the info as it comes in so we can support you and the show! Very excited about everything, ~ Katra

    • Hey there! So glad you found my work! I love connecting with a fellow Firefly fan. 🙂 The TV Pilot is just the script that I’m going to write and try to get to someone who might be interested, but it’s by no means a done deal in TV land! Not even close. But maybe if enough of my fans get behind it, we can get the right pair of eyes on it. I’ll keep everyone posted. Your enthusiasm is exactly what I need! xoxo Elle

  73. Hi there I was just wondering if there would at all be another book following Mackenzie fire. As I truly enjoyed reading shine not burn and Mackenzie fire. They are amazing to read.
    ~ Hayley

    • Hi, Hayley. I’m so glad you enjoyed them. I don’t, at this time, have plans for a third book in the series. 🙁 BUT I do have lots of other romances out there if you’re still looking for something to read. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  74. I’m a big skeptic when it comes to purchasing books on google play, especially when it’s from an author whose name is new to me. I read the reviews on War Of The Fae book 1 and thought “well, I may as well give this a shot”., and man, was I NOT disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed all 8 books and cannot wait for the release of 9 and 10. I keep checking your website, eagerly awaiting their release! I have also just read My Vampire Summer-again, great writing. I only wish your books were longer!
I’ll definitely be purchasing more of your works. Keep up the fantastic writing!

From: Your new fan in South Africa.

  75. I am soo impatiently waiting for WOF 2 last books, I have been checking up on your site every day this month, once they come out I swear I will be locking myself up in my room and not put the book down until the last page! As I have said before, you are an amazing writer, I’ve read almost all your books this year, so glad I stumbled upon your work. Much love xox

    • Hi, Andi! Thanks for your comment. I’m as excited and impatient as you are for these books, believe me! Writing #9 and #10 books in such a complex series is a lot more difficult than writing the earlier books, and I’m highly paranoid about leaving anything out or dangling strings, so it’s taking me longer than usual to finish up, but it has 100% of my attention now (no other writing projects are on my desk). xoxo Elle

      • Even though I am impatient to read them I say take your time to perfect it 🙂 I am a writer as well (well trying to be, gone from song writing to trying to write my first book series) and I know how hard it can get. You are an amazing writer so I have no doubt the 2 last books are going to be AMAZING xox

        • Thank you!!! Writing the last books is really different than writing the others. There are so many things to remember! But it’s fun too, to sit back down with the characters and reconnect. 🙂 xoxo Elle

          • Elle just want to say I’m a die hard fan of the WOTF books. The time that you Have/Are taking over them shows how much the characters mean to you that you want to get it right for all of us. Please don’t feel pressured, we as fans will appreciate your hard work all the more as we laugh and no doubt gasp and cry as they come to conclusion. Thank you for pouring So Much energy into them. They deserve it. I will be over the moon when I have them but scared to read them as that will mean they will end. ( don’t forget the “spark” of an idea for a “Spin off” book about Tim the pixies spy life 😂 Thank you again for your wonderful imagination.

          • Thank you, Donna! Your support means the world to me, it really does. Sometimes this kind of work can be really mentally exhausting, but when I see this kind of feedback it makes it easier to push through and get the job done! I’m excited about where the series is ending and can’t wait to send these babies out into the world for fans to enjoy. Shouldn’t be much longer. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding. xoxo Elle

  76. Hi Elle! I was wondering about Just One Week. I haven’t heard anything about that one in a while. I absolutely loved William in Just One Night. I can’t wait for Edwards story.

    • I have half the book written! But other projects have to get done first and those were delayed for various personal and business reasons, so right now I’m playing catch up. Look for it in 2017. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  77. Hi I just read desperate measures and loved it! Do you plan on writing anymore books in this series? I would love to read more about aimee, Kiki and elizabeth!!

    • I have written half of a book 2, but I really wasn’t happy with it, so I abandoned it. I will get back to it one day, once my schedule slows down a bit! It’s my mom’s favorite book of mine so she regularly reminds me I need to do it. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  78. Hello Elle,
This is my first fan letter. Just wanted to tell you how delightful “Desparate Measures” was!
I am a vaorcious reader. So, it is hard to displease me. But, this book was such a ‘ hoot’ to read.
Funny, sexy, lots of action and best of all a rough justice, happy ending.
The characters have so much going for them. And their compatibility was perfect. Just the right amount of sass and empathy for each other and the others in the story.
I would love to see a follow up. Is there one?
This one was a freebie so, don’t know about a series?
Best wishes and if there isn’t a sequel, I will try one of your others. 😊

    • I’m honored to be the first recipient of a fan letter from you! It makes me feel very special. I’m really happy to know that you enjoyed the book so much. At this time there isn’t a sequel, but you never know, there might be one in the future. I have lots and lots of books, though, so if you want more of my writing style, I can keep you busy for quite a while. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  79. Hello! I was just curious is you were planning on any sequels for desperate measures. I just finished it, great book. I’d love to hear about the pasts of the other two couples.

    • Some day! I had started a book 2 after book 1 was done, but I didn’t like it at all! So I abandoned the project temporarily. I’ll get back to it one day, but I have a few other projects in the pipeline I have to get done first. So glad you enjoyed it, though! And I have lots of other fun books, so I hope you’ll check them out in the meantime. xoxo Elle

  80. Hi
I totally in love for “War of the Fae” series!
Can you tell when we can read the lasts 2 books?
Do you have a date already?
    Thank you!

  81. Hello,

My friend introduced me to the War of the Fae series earlier this year. Once I started reading them I couldn’t stop till I got to the end, I didn’t even realize the last 2 weren’t out yet. So I’ve been checking back every now and again. I love the series. Such amazing books. So excited for the final two!!
You have done some amazing work. Thank you!

    • So far I’m on track for 9, but we’ll see! I’ve had some massive upheavals going on behind the scenes, but I’m trying not to let that stop me. Thanks for your continued patience 🙂 xoxo Elle

  82. This may seem silly, I absolutely love the war of the fae. I haven’t been able to put them down!!!! I was just wondering if there will be a release of book 8 in paperback?? (I’m an old school reader) I have only been able to find 1-7. I am super excited for books 9 and 10!!! You are an amazing writer!!! Thanks!!

    • Hi, Rebecca. Yes, to answer your question, all the WOTF books will be in paperback, with the new covers on them. We’re working on that now! It’s a big project. 😉 xoxo Elle

    • Not yet, but damn, if it doesn’t happen in January I’m going to have to fire myself or something. I think the world is conspiring against me at this point! xoxo Elle

        • Yes, January is coming to an end and my 96 year old grandmother just got put into hospice care, which means all my focus is now on her. 🙁 And so life goes! xoxo Elle

          • I hope that she is alright. Nothing is more important than family.

I wish the best for your family. Take care o7

          • Thanks. She’s 96 and leaving us very soon, and I know this is what she wanted. She’s tired and her body is finished. This is just a part of life, and though painful, the price we must pay for living. xoxo Elle

  83. I love you’re war of the fae series and have been checking since April 2015 for it’s release. You are a very elequant and gifted wrighter, I will deffinatly be looking into some of your other book series. However do you think maybe you’re taking on to many projects as some series have been cancelled and some were suppossed to come out April 2015 we’re now in January 2017 and they still don’t have a release date. Don’t over do it and burn you’re self out as you are gifted and you’re fans are relying on you.

    • I’ve been taking on too many projects since I started writing 5 years ago. The problem occurs when life gets in the way. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  84. Hi Elle!
My first time writing to an author, but I’ve been reading your romances for a while now. Started with Shine Not Burn and was hooked!! I just recently decided to try your SF (I’ve been a SF reader since childhood) with Drifter’s Alliance and WOW! I loved them. The whole time I was reading, I was casting it in my head and thinking, “This would make a great movie or TV series!” Imagine my surprise when I came here tonight for the first time to check your publication schedule and BAM! You’re already in talks to make this great series for the screen. SO happy for you and hope to see “DA: The Series” in the very near future.

    • I’m so glad you found me! Yeah, the Drifters’ Alliance thing is a long-shot, but I figured what the hell, right? Can’t win if you don’t play! xoxo Elle

    • Not here yet! Just hang in there. My grandmother became very ill and then passed away, which really threw me for a loop and took a few weeks off my writing schedule. xoxo Elle

  85. Just finished books 1-8 in War of Fae in less than a month. Clicked next book…nothing! Oh so sad! When will Jayne be back? Is Tim ok? Come on…I’m dying here! Jayne needs to get back to Spike and Othello!

    • Hi, Stacy! Yeah, I’m working on 9 but it’s a really slow process (not normal for me, so my readers are a bit upset with me!) I don’t have a publish date for either book yet, but should soon. Thanks for reaching out and I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the series so far! xoxo Elle

  86. HI Elle, my condolences on the loss of your loved one., creative writing like yours is hard enough without life hitting you where it really hurts. Stay strong , life has been coming at you hard these past few years. You have my deepest sympathy.
    *HUGE HUGS*

    • THANK YOU, Denise. It was so kind of you to stop by and share your kind words with me. I’m so lucky to have readers like you behind me! 🙂 xoxo Elle

  87. Hi Elle,
“Develop pilot TV episode for Drifters’ Alliance” – this is great! It has been a long time since a new and really good sci-fi series was made. People would disagree, what with ‘westworld’ and the like but I’m more a space opera fan. Good luck, and looking forward to Drifters Alliance 4.
    Kathy

  88. Hello Elle,
I’m James. I had read the first DA a while back as a free Amazon download. Then I just recently read 2 and 3. I absolutely loved all 3 books and was a bit disappointed that we have a bit of a wait for more of Captain Cass’ (mis)adventures.
You’ve created some fantastic characters in DA and I became an instant fan! The series is so much fun, the wit and sarcasm is right up my alley. Please keep those going!
    Cheers,
    -James

    • Hi, James! Thank you so much for dropping by to share your excitement over the series. I’m thrilled to know you’re so happy with DA. There’ll be more for you to enjoy this year. xoxo Elle

  89. Hey Elle,
Just a quick question here, (sorry if us War Of Fae fans are bugging you) is WOF book 9 going to be released this month or is it is just being written this month and if it is being released do you have a concrete release date?
I just reread the series and I need my baes Tim and Jayne back! 😉
Thanks for bringing these awesome characters to live and I hope you had (in the words of Jayne) a kickass day.

    • It’s being written but it’s a very slow process, so I don’t have an exact date yet for the publication. 🙂 Glad you’re so excited! xoxo Elle

      • Thanks for the reply! I know you have a lot of stuff going on right now and hope I didn’t come across as too pushy. Take as much time as you need, it just means that the book will be even better! Good Luck!

        • Of course you didn’t! There’s a big difference between being pushy and being enthusiastic. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  90. First off I just wanted to say how very, very sorry I am to read of your grandmothers passing. 😔

Secondly…. I just finished reading books 1-8 of WOTF.
Oh em gee!! Totally sucked me in! I may or may not have accidentally ignored my family for at least 5 hours a day while reading them 😮
I am busting at the seams to read books 9 & 10 and can’t wait for their release.

Thank you for your amazing stories
Can’t wait to check out your other books 😙

  91. Hi Ms. Elle,

I wanted to say sorry about the loss of your grandmother first off. I lost mine a few years ago so I know how devastating it is 🙁 I’ve read and re-read the entire WOTF series twice now and like everyone else, am VERY excited to see how it all plays out. I check the website and I’m subscribed to the news letter to get notified when they’re released but I was just curious if there is any idea when they’ll be released or if it’s still coming in June or not? Thank you for your time and I LOVE your books! 🙂

    Xoxo
    Jess

    • Thank you so much for your kind words. I appreciate them very much. WOTF 9 and 10 will be out summer/fall. That’s as accurate as I can be right now. I’m as excited as you are to get these books out there into the world! xoxo Elle

  92. I read the War of the Fae 1-8 because I’d picked up my daughter’s kindle and got hooked on book 1. Well that was Fall 2016, and I’ve been patiently waiting for the next book so I can continue with the story. I was very excited to read it. I followed this website to check on the publishing schedule. However the writing and reviewing of book 9 and book 10 WOTF continues to get moved out due to conflicting priorities which are higher than WOTF. I’m saddened though that completing the WOTF story is not one of your priorities, given that you have a large fan base for the series.

    • Hi, Cindy. First, I want to thank you for writing. Not everyone takes the time to do that, and I do love hearing from my fans. I also want to say how happy I am that you’ve enjoyed the series so far and that both you and your daughter can talk about the books together. I’m looking forward to finishing the series. Last, I will tell you that I am also a mom. I have 2 daughters and a son. I’m also married and have extended family who I’m very close to. While I appreciate how many fans I have, and how dedicated they are, I’m sorry to say that they do not take priority over my family or my own health. So, yes, the publishing dates for Books 9 and 10 have been pushed back, but it’s not because I don’t care about my fans or the characters’ stories. If you read my blog you’d see some of the issues I’ve been dealing with, but I don’t share everything with the public. Sometimes readers, in their enthusiasm, forget that I am a woman with a life outside of writing. Sometimes that life “gets in the way” of my publishing schedule. I’m not going to apologize for that. What I will do is ask you for your continued patience as I work through everything and get back to the series, which will be very soon so long as life doesn’t decide to throw me another curve ball. Thank you very much! 🙂 xoxo Elle

    • I’m sorry, but there isn’t. Originally we planned for one, but the other author and I weren’t able to do the second one. ~Elle

  93. Hi Elle,
I just want to let you know that I LOVE WOTF. You have such an amazing talent to capture every small detail with the characters. I cant wait for 9&10 to publish but I LOVE that your family comes first. I have 2 kiddos and its hard fitting any extra time into a schedule. You keep doing what you do, your fans will still be here even if it takes 10 years LOL.
Your biggest and probrably oldest fan,
    Monika 💜💜

    • Thank you, Monika! I’m so glad to have you as a fan. I’m excited to bring the series to a close. It won’t take even close to 10 years, I promise. 🙂 xoox Elle

  94. I was sitting at home the other day and thinking about something crude Jayne said in WOTF and couldn’t stop laughing! I miss her sooo much!! I know you are currently working on it and I am going to do my very best to patiently wait. I just wanted to leave this message to say how awesome it is to be captivated by a book and to let you know that you are doing a great job. 🙂

    • Capree, thank you so much for your kind words and for letting me know you’re out there patiently waiting for the next in series. I will be so relieved when it’s finally out there!! xoxo Elle

    • Matt, I think you should get the gold star for being the most dedicated fan! 🙂 Book 9 is half done and I hope to have it done by the Fall. I’ll put an exact date up when I’m closer to finishing. xoxo Elle

      • I am so glad you are finishing this series. I have loved every book and can’t wait for the next 2. I will defiantly re-read the series when they are published! Thank you for. Not giving up on this series. It truly is amazing. As all your books are.

    • Thank you, Susan! I’m so glad you enjoyed the series. I don’t have plans for a 5th book in that series, but it could happen one day. Definitely not in 2017 though. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  95. I have found your drifter alliance books to be an amazing read. The rest of the books (4,5,6) were supposed to be out in march of this year (that was from last years schedule). I have already read them for the second time waiting for the rest of the series. Please tell me that they will be out soon. Every time I check on the progress it seems that the keep moving to later in the year!

    • Thanks, John! So glad you liked them. I do have 3 more planned, they’ve just been pushed back by delays in other projects. Not to worry, they are coming. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  96. Hi!! I loveeeee WOF can we expect to have it this year ? I’ve been keeping an eye out for it going 2 years now surely hope to read soon but until then I’ll be re-reading your previous works.

  97. I really enjoy your books and I loved the Bourbon Street Boys Series, though my favourite book so far has to be ‘Desperate Measures’. I was just wondering if there is a sequel to the ‘Desperate Measures’, I’m seeing a lot of references to it being the first in a trilogy but I can’t find anything to confirm that this is the case and the next two books are in the works. I absolutely loved Kiki and would love to read more. I really want to find out if Brent ever realises where he first met her. Will you be writing another book in this series?

    • I’m so glad you enjoyed the books. Originally, Desperate Measures was supposed to be a trilogy, but as I started writing the second book, I realized that I’d told too much of the story for books 2 and 3 to make any sense…at least at the time. I wrote half of book 2 and abandoned it because I didn’t like where it was going. One day I might go back and try again, but as of right now, that’s not in the pipeline. xoxo Elle

  98. Hey just commenting to ask about the WOTF! It’s been awhile but I know your busy with family and other things. We are all supporting you and waiting for the adventure with Jayne to continue.

    • Thank you, Matt! I appreciate both your support and enthusiasm about the War of the Fae series. I’m writing #9 now. It’s taken me longer than I’d like, but nothing else will be written until 9 and 10 are done! xoxo Elle

  99. Would like to know when will release the lasts two books of WAR OF THE FAE
Are scheduled for Octouber/November, but we are almost in December…
    TIA

    • I’m working on #9 now. It’s taking me waaaaay longer than I want it to, but my attempts to rush it have not gone well, so I’m doing my best. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  100. Hi! I just finished reading the WOTF series for the second time and absolutely love it. 🙂 I can’t wait for books 9 and 10 (and if any come after that)! I’ve read many of your other books, too. You’re an amazing writer!

    • Thank you, Erin! I’m so happy you’re enjoying my books. There are 2 more for War of the Fae and I’m working on them now. 🙂 xoxo Elle

    • Hi Audrey. I get the anxiety, believe me! It’s not going to happen for December, but I’m hoping (like everyone else!) for January. xoxo Elle

  101. Hi Elle! I come from Brazil and I have read all your books of War of the Fae, and I fell in love with the characters, the book, and your writing!!! I am waiting anxiously for the release of the two other books, and I can’t wait to read them!
I have friends that also love Jayne and would love to keep reading her advertures but can’t because of the lenguage. It wasn’t a problem for me, but they only read until the 4 th, that is the last one that was translated. Can you tell me if they are going to translate the other also?
Thank you for everything, you are amazing! Happy Holidays!
    xoxo Sophie

    • Hi Sophie! I’m so happy to have you as a reader and that you’ve enjoyed the War of the Fae series in Portuguese. Unfortunately, the publisher has chosen not to translate the rest of the series. I’m so sad about it. Maybe someday another publisher will contact me and want to do this for my readers there. It would be wonderful! xoxo Elle

  102. Hey Elle, I was just wondering if the extended amount of time to work on the WOTF series is because it’s longer. I would be soooo excited for a longer book in the series. I have read that series almost 10 times now in preparation for the next two books. But definitely take your time!! Your fans and I can wait if this book is going to amazing!! We are all here for you!!

    • I wish that was the reason! But no, it’s just personal issues that have slowed me down. But I’m only working on War of the Fae right now and will get #9 done as soon as I can. Thank you for your support! xoxo Elle

  103. Hi Elle
I have recently discovered your War of the Fae series, and have read the first 8 books in the last 10 days. What a fabulous series of books, you are a wonderful writer along with a few others I have found of late who write about the fae, ( although I won’t be so rude as to mention other authors) I must say this is the best series I have read so far based around this type of fantasy!
I can see you have been continually pestered as to when the last books Will be released, and I can certainly understand their impatience lol. But I must add myself to that list, is Jan a realistic release date hope or do you think it may take longer, it must be hard to link everything together to come to the conclusion you want .
    King regards
    Steve

    • Thank you, Steve, for your kind words. I’m so glad you found the series and enjoyed it so much. You’ve hit the nail on the head; finishing up the series is a LOT harder than starting it. There are many, many loose ends that need tying up and I want to get it right. My fans deserve that at least! xoxo Elle

  104. Hey, kinda just echoing the last comment here but I’ve read a few books about the fae as well and I find that your series is the one that is the realist because the main character Jayne is only a little bit different from the standard teenagers that I know. I am 15 btw so i know quite a few. I read a lot of books, because I enjoy reading, and fantasy is my favorite genre. Out of all the series I’ve read this is my favorite series so far.

    • Thanks for commenting Jeremy. I love hearing from a reader of the same ages as the characters in one of my books telling me they sound authentic. I’m honored that you find my books so enjoyable. xoxo Elle

  105. Can’t wait for the WOTF 9 & 10! Everytime you change the date of release, I read all 8 books to get ready and I never get tired of it! I’m hoping the two books will really be out for us to read before this month ends because I just finished reading 8 last week 🙂

    • Oh my goodness, you are a superfan indeed!! I feel bad that you’ve re-read so many times in anticipation, but it’s great that you’ve enjoyed it each time. I’m sure I’ve re-read just as many times as you have as I’ve been writing book 9 for what seems like forever. I’m still working on it and don’t yet have a publish date, but I will advertise it all over the place once I do. Thanks for your dedication and patience… xoxo Elle

  106. I’m sorry for my bad English, I’m brazilian kkk here in brazil just the first four books was published, but i loved so much that i continued reading the other in english! I looooove war of the fae. I just re-read all of the books for the 2nd time now. I can’t wait for the 9 and 10 books. I will buy the same day for sure. Waiting anxious. You are a extraordinary writer. (Oh, love how Janey has grown by the books) xoxo, or “beijos”

    • Hello Alexandra! Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. I know how hard it can be to read in a foreign language, so I appreciate how dedicated you must be to the series. Thanks for your enthusiasm. I hope you’ll enjoy books 9 and 10 as much as you have the others. xoxo Elle

  107. Hey Elle!! I was just wondering when book 9 will come out!! I have read the series multiple times now and it’s always amazing! Just wondering if it will be done in February?! No pressure if we have to wait. I’m sure the longer we wait, the better it will be!

    • Hi, Matt! I’m working on number 9 now. It’s been a VERY slow process, but I’m getting there. I don’t have an exact publish date yet, but as soon as I know what it is, I will post it everywhere. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  108. Hy Elle! I have just re-read Just One Night and I forgot how much I love William and Jennifer. I was wondering what happened to Edward’s book, Just One Week?

    • I wrote half of it and didn’t like it enough to keep going, so I put it aside! I will pick it up again, though. I’m just not sure when. xoxo Elle

  109. Man – I was so hoping that Drifter’s alliance would post sooner (been waiting for it since end 2016) and was so excited with the 2017 schedule – but now I see it’s moved down to June 2018….I really hope you continue it. It’s one of the best SF’s I’ve read in a very long time and I am simply in love with all the characters! Not to mention the twists and turns that keep happening ….

  110. Hi. I just wanted to say that i’ve loved Drifters Alliance and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next books! I was gutted when i realised I’d have to wait for the next instalments but if they are anything like the first 3, I cannot wait!!! Please hurry! 😊 super enthusiast!

    • Hi Alex! I’ll be working on those as soon as I finish the last War of the Fae book (#10) which I’m supposed to write in April/May. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  111. Hi Elle, your books are great, I admit I haven’t read all of your series yet but am working through them, Love In New York, Apocalypsis, WOTF, Vampire Seasons & Wrecked done so far. I’ve just finished reckless and I was wondering if you had any plans to further this series?
    thanks
    Kerry XOXO

    • Hi, Kerry. I actually don’t have plans for that series, but you never know with me! I change my mind sometimes. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  112. I am hoping you are going to continue the reckless books they are really good. I’m hoping to read about them where they go on vacation. hoping they bring the dogs lol

    • Hi Jackqueline. I actually don’t have plans at this time to add to that series, but maybe one day I’ll change my mind on that. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  113. Hi Elle, I’ve been a huge fan of the war of the fae since I read the first book which I stumbled across. I’ve fallen in love with all the characters and am keen to see how it all turns out. I know you’ve been asked plenty of times when the ninth and tenth books will be released but I’ve been waiting in anticipation for ages due to the excitement of them being released. I’ve been reading the series on the Kobo app so I was also wondering if they’ll be released on there or I’d have to purchase the paper copies which would be fine too because I’ve been waiting for an excuse to have the series as real books. You’re one of my favourite authors and I’m so glad I found your books at such an early age because you’ve gained a life time fan. Keep doing great work because you’re bringing magic to everyday life! 😀

    • Hi, Val! Thanks so much for your comment. I have excellent news for ya…Book 9 will be out at ALL retailers on April 23rd. I also hope to have all the paperbacks with the new covers done by the middle of summer 🙂 xoxo Elle

    • I don’t have plans for any at this time, but if that changes, I’ll be sure to announce it all over my website and my newsletter. xoxo Elle

  114. Elle
Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the WOTF books (all three times)… Then I discovered the DA series… Really enjoyed them. Hope that writing, while tough, is enjoyable and an escape that helped you through the difficulties of the last few years, rather than a chore. Certainly the results, seem to read as though you enjoy writing them.
Looking forward to reading more in th e future.

    • Thanks so much! And I have a publishing date now, thank all that is holy…April 23rd!!! Thanks for hanging in there with me. xoxo Elle

    • As a matter of fact I do! As of today, since I wrote the last word on the manuscript this afternoon. The publish date is…(drum roll please)…April 23rd! xoxo Elle

  115. I’ve been checking on and off and I can’t even describe how happy I felt seeing a publishing date for WOF 9. I just want to say thank you for taking your time, I know it’s going to be a great read.

  116. Hi, I’m Brazilian and I’m in book 9 of “War of the FAE”, but I wanted to know if there is a possibility of publishing the second part of the series in Brazil since it was only translated until book 4

    • I wish that was going to happen, but unfortunately the publisher chose not to translate the rest of the series. I’m very sorry! xoxo Elle

    • Yes, however I am starting a new Adult Fantasy series in 2019 that will feature some of the WOTF characters. 🙂 xoxo Elle

  117. Elle. I just finished book 10 of WOTF and it was worth the every minute of reading and waiting. It was adventure and I can’t believe the twist at the end with the “good” character. The tears in my eyes were falling down my face. I can’t wait for the next adventure in the world. This was a great escape for my difficult life and I want to thank you for your time writing those books. Jayne really learned what Love means and it was the most beautiful thing I have every read. Thank you

  118. Drifters alliance keeps getting pushed back. Its been almost a year since it was at the top of the schedule. Any update?

    • The publishing schedule has been updated to reflect the new dates for release of these titles. They’ll be coming the first quarter of 2019. Thanks for both your patience and enthusiasm for the series! xoxo Elle

  119. Dear Elle, I’m so happy and hopeful to hear that you are planning on going ahead w the Drifters Alliance books 456 – hope you are feeling well and upbeat, and that writing will continue to make your days merry n bright! Love this series – Audrey

    • Thank you, Audrey!! I am doing okay and although our family has had some setbacks, we are looking forward to an excellent 2019. Happy holidays! xoxo Elle

  120. So glad to hear that DA 4, 5, and 6 are back in the works. It’s been a rough year for you, but so glad to know you are getting back in the saddle. Here’s hoping your 2019 is a smooth ride. DA Bale
